The National Association of Asian American Professionals, Washington, DC Chapter (NAAAP-DC) is a non-profit 501c(3), all-volunteer organization whose mission is to promote and support the professional advancement of its members through: leadership conferences, workshops and seminars, networking opportunities, mentoring and coaching. We are a pan-Asian, pan-professional organization, with members who have various educational backgrounds and working in multiple industries that include finance, consulting, technology, manufacturing, legal, academia, and government.

What It Would Be Like To Be Our Intern:
You’ll be working with a diverse, professional, well-connected and really fun group of leaders in the API community. Duties may include (but are not limited to):
- Design onboarding process for executive officers and board members
- Design onboarding process for executive officers and board members
- Create an Executive Officer’s Handbook
- Audit and document organization processes
An internship opportunity with NAAAP DC is unpaid. We will gladly assist you with paperwork/requirements for college credits and ensure you receive valuable on-the-job experience in a real, non-profit 501c(3) organization.
Job Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- Be a current undergraduate or graduate college student seeking internship for credit or on-the-job experience
- In possession of a valid driver's license and access to reliable independent mode of transportation
- Available to work events on the occasional evenings and weekends
- Applicants would ideally be pursuing a career in event planning, project management, non-profit management
