Credit Suisse’s Asia Pacific Global Markets Solutions department (GM Solutions) delivers best in class investment solutions to great variety of investors all over Japan, such as commercial banks, insurers, asset managers, securities companies, private banks, and hedge funds, by structuring, sales and marketing, and trading activities. GM Solutions is core to the Asia Pacific business model in delivering the Trusted Entrepreneurs' Bank in the region whilst bringing to bear our global distribution and reach. Products covered by GM Solutions are across notes and swaps related to equity and index, rates, FX and credit, securitized products related to various type of cash flows, derivatives overlay for funds, and reinsurance and derivatives for insurance products.

Our Program is a 7-week internship designed to give highly talented students a taste of life at the world’s leading integrated Wealth Manager and Investment Bank, with the potential to join the Graduate Program upon graduation. The graduate role will see you join a trading desk in the Asia Pacific Region at analyst level working in our Asia Pacific Global Markets franchise.

Training
Our internship is widely regarded as one of the best and most comprehensive summer programs during which you will:
  • undergo a structured summer program
  • gain exposure to 2 or 3 teams on the Tokyo trading floor
  • develop a project over the course of the internship that you will eventually present to senior management.

Throughout the program you will receive invaluable on-the-job training, guidance and mentoring that will further develop your skills and knowledge.
Qualifications
To apply you are graduating no later than July 2019 and to qualify you are in your second last year of an undergraduate or Master’s course for the Analyst Program.

Excellent written and spoken communication skills is critical, with English as essential and business to native level
Japanese required.
