Learn How to Apply for Fellowships: Applying for Academic and Professional Fellowships Workshop

Hello Students, Alumni, and Colleagues,
The Center for Undergraduate Fellowships and Research will be hosting a fellowship workshop session entitled Applying for Academic and Professional Fellowships this Thursday!
Date: Thursday, September 22nd
Location: the University Honors Program basement (714 21stStreet NW)
Time: 5-6pm
Victoria Johnson from ProFellow (www.Profellow.com ) will offer application tips, advice on how to apply for graduate level fellowships, and strategies for working abroad after college.
Besides her work at ProFellow, Ms. Johnson has extensive experience from having successfully applied to the following awards:
  • NYC Urban Fellows Program (2001-2, the "9/11 class")
  • German Chancellor Fellowship (2003-4)
  • Herbert Scoville Jr. Peace Fellowship in Washington, DC (2005)
  • Ian Axford Fellowship in Public Policy in New Zealand (present, administered by Fulbright)
In addition to her fellowship work, Ms. Johnson also brings a wealth of experience in the field of emergency management and policy studies.
