Volunteer Opportunity: Sakura Matsuri Japanese Street Festival 2014
The Japan-America Society of Washington, D.C invites you to the nation’s largest celebration of Japanese culture, the annual Sakura Matsuri Japanese Street Festival. This year the Sakura Matsuri will feature over 20 hours of live musical and dance performances, over 200 martial artists, 25 restaurants and food vendors, and much more opportunities to bring Japan home from the Festival.
The Sakura Matsuri is designed to educate and entertain attendees about the culture and history of Japan. The festival needs over 600 volunteers to help staff this amazing festival. There are a wide variety of committees, shifts, and tasks for you to choose from to volunteer.
Online applications are accepted until March, 29th 2014.
